Let me start by saying I received this game during the holiday auction, I did not pay for it...That being said the amount of content that available for this game is NOT worth the $20 they are trying to charge people. At the time of this review there are currently five songs that are playable, which is HALF of what they're offering; Ten songs at completion. Now, if they went for a $10 Early access price, and then went up to $20... maybe.. but even then. There are similar audio based games that cost less. Soundodger+ is $9, Audiosurf is $10, these games have a LOT more content and also offer personal MP3 usage in some way. Then you add in the "Controller compatibility". I thought i'd give it a try, after finishing every song at least three times. The sensitivity was comparitive to a snail, on oil. i got about 20 seconds into a song (because i had to wait for the music to actually start for the weapons to fire) before i realized.. This is what their idea of hardmode must be. it was impossible to rotate fast enough for your weapons to destroy everything. -10/10 Would not recommend.As of now, I would not recommend this game to people unless it was free. When they add more than ten songs and an editor, or at least lower the price to something reasonable, then i might be willing to recommend this game.. Though this game has made slightly disappointing progress in a year since it's Kickstarter, I'm still pretty happy it's made it's way to Steam. It's an exciting game that keeps you on your toes as the bullets and stuff are controlled by the songs in the background. It's an amazing concept, and it worked well when I played the demo before, and still works now. I hope to see more progress within the coming months though, but all and all you won't be wasting money. It's really a fun game....it's just disappointing to see that from a year with 4 songs, it's come onto Steam with only one new level to say it's made progress.... After searching long and hard (like 35 minues) I finally found a working link to the download of the old dubwars (kickstarter demo) that I used to love more than the new and curent version. Played the old version, and all I can sayis that It sucks. The current version is way better. Anyways, just wish they would spend more time on developing this game. But that's a wish that will never come true.. Omg , I♥♥♥♥♥♥my pants .... I think this is the most amazing game ive seen in a while .... Heads up, GET DA GAME!!!!. I loved this game, and then there was an update. I thought they would add those 5 songs they were going to add.Nope.They changed the interface and the guns in the songs. Why? No idea, there was no reason, the game was perfectly fine. They took 4 months to do a graphics update. And is it good?Nope.The guns barely align to the guns, the song "Tough Guy" just has straight constant beams when the bass drops, before the update, every note changed the beam slightly in the drop. Was this a good change?Nope.The developers ruined this game, they changed unnecessary things, their turning into Google with Youtube. There was no reason to do this. Why didn't they add the new songs? We have no idea. So in the end, should you buy this game now?NOPE.
